About the clinic
Dr Geoffrey Ryan is a Brisbane ophthalmologist consulting from the Queensland Eye Institute (QEI), with clinics in Woolloongabba and Clayfield. QEI has treated eye conditions for the Brisbane community for many years and is recognised as one of Queensland's leading ophthalmology practices, with a reputation for clinical excellence that draws referrals from across South East Queensland and beyond.
Patients are usually referred to the clinic by their optometrist after being diagnosed with, or suspected of having, an eye condition that requires specialist medical treatment. Once at QEI, Dr Ryan and his colleagues can diagnose and manage a comprehensive range of eye diseases, including cataract, glaucoma, pterygium and corneal conditions such as keratoconus.

About Dr Geoffrey Ryan
Dr Geoffrey Ryan is one of the ophthalmologists consulting from Queensland Eye Institute, with a particular focus on cataract and refractive surgery, glaucoma, pterygium and corneal conditions including keratoconus.
He completed his ophthalmology training in Queensland before undertaking further sub-specialty training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, one of the world's most respected eye hospitals.
A team of highly qualified ophthalmologists
Being part of a larger practice means Dr Ryan doesn't work in isolation. The clinic is led by, and made up of, a team of highly qualified ophthalmologists, many holding fellowships with recognised professional bodies and additional sub-specialty training.
